Welcome to PatriotSailing.com! This is our official web site for the Patriot Sailing Team during the 2012 season. We hope to keep the Patriot crew, family and friends informed of our plan for the season and track our efforts during the year.
Just a quick re-cap of the 2011 Patriot sailing season. Although we did not compete in all the events we had planned for the year, we did enjoy much improvement throughout the year. While sailing the Tuesday AYC in Anchor Bay, we placed 2nd overall for Spring series, tied for 3rd in the Summer series and placed Second overall for the 2011 year.
In Beneteau First 36.7 One-design, we finished second overall in the Detroit NOODS, 5th in the BYC Mac and defended our 2010 title by placing 1st Overall in the Detroit Beneteau First 36.7 Regatta. We took 3rd in the Detroit Fleet Overall Regatta Season.
I want to thank everyone who sailed with us throughout the year--your efforts made the season a success!
This year we are moving the racing program to Bayview Yacht Club and look forward to competing regularly against our one-design fleet.
